Special Considerations for Palm Conduit

When using the Remind-Me Conduit for Palm there are certain features/considerations you should be aware of:

For options controlling the use of this conduit see "File/Options.../Palm Conduit" from within Remind-Me.

Only Remind-Me will be synchronized with your Palm calendar.

Alarms:
Alarm settings are independent between the Palm and Remind-Me platforms.

Repeat Options:
Remind-Me supports all repeat options available in Palm's Date Book. However, there are a few repeat options that Remind-Me offers, that are not supported by Palm's Date Book:

Daily: Every Weekday
Monthly: Choosing by day, weekday, or weekend day
Yearly: Choosing by day (example: The first Sunday of January)
Holidays: Certain holidays with unique calculations, such as Easter

Events with these non-supported repeat options in Palm will not be transferred to the Palm Date Book. A warning will be left in the HotSync log when this occurs. To be warned when entering any such events in Remind-Me turn on this option under File/Options.../Palm Conduit.

Private/Hidden:
"Private" events on the Palm map to/from "Hidden" events in Remind-Me. It is important to note that hidden events in Remind-Me are not password protected, so these events can be viewed in Remind-Me without entering a password. If you need password protection for your events you may not want to use this add-on.
