From the Other page in the Options dialog, you can specify the following:

Purge Events Completed Over 'X' Days Ago |
When this option is turned on any events that were completed the number of days ago that you specify will be removed from Remind-Me's database when you exit. Events will only be removed if there are no more occurrences, and all occurrences have been acknowledged. By turning this option on you can keep your database smaller and Remind-Me may open slightly faster, but you will not be able to view these old events if they are removed from the database. |

Alarm Sounds Loop Until Dismissed |
When this option is turned on, assigned alarm sounds will be continuously played until the alarm list dialog is dismissed. If this option is off, the sound will only be played once. |

Move Selected Calendar Date When Adding Events |
When this option is turned on, anytime a new event is added, the selected day in the calendar is moved to the date of this newly added event. When this option is off, the selected calendar day remains unchanged. |

Include Alarm Information in iCalendar Exports |
This option controls whether or not exported iCalendar files include alarm information. The iCalendar specification allows for information on alarms to be transmitted. Some calendaring programs may not support this. If you experience difficulties importing Remind-Me exported iCalendar files, try exporting with this option off. To create an iCalendar file, select one or more events, and then right mouse click and choose an option from the "iCalendar" menu. You can either forward an iCalendar file by email, or save the iCalendar file to disk. Related Tip: To import an iCalendar file see the Import Options Dialog. |

Week Starts On |
Choose the day of the week that will be displayed on the left-most side of the monthly calendar. |

First Weekend Day |
Choose the day of the week that begins the weekend. Weekend days can be displayed in an alternate color. |

Enable Outlook Syncing |
This option will only be available if you have installed the version of Remind-Me with the Outlook conduit. Leave this option turned on if you wish to synchronize with Outlook. If you are not going to be syncing with Outlook, turn this option off to reduce the size of your Remind-Me database. [more info] |
