Prompt Options

From the Prompts page in the Options dialog, specify which questions you would like Remind-Me to ask during program operation.  This page offers the following choices:

Ask for Confirmation Before Deleting an Event

If this option is checked, Remind-Me will ask if you are sure you want to delete an event prior to actually deleting it, whenever you choose the delete command

Ask to Record Sound Clip Before Sending E-mail

If this option is checked, Remind-Me will ask if you would like to record and then attach an audio recording to your e-mail.  This question is asked when Remind-Me is composing e-mail for a due event.  This option is ignored, and the question will not be asked, when Remind-Me is composing an e-mail without the "Prompt Before Sending" option enabled.  For more information, see sending e-mail.

Ask for Confirmation Before Exiting

If this option is checked, Remind-Me will ask if you are sure you want to quit Remind-Me when you select the "Exit" command. (When you quit Remind-Me you will not be notified of any due events. To hide Remind-Me, but keep it running in the background use "Hide to Tray" instead.)

Due Events Default to Acknowledged

This option controls the initial state of the check box in the alarm dialog next to events that have arrived or are past due. If this option is checked these events will have the check box checked. When dismissing the alarm dialog, events that are checked will be "acknowledged".  See acknowledging events.

Auto Acknowledge Events With No Alarms

For events that do not have either a startup or timed alarm enabled, this option will automatically acknowledge these events up through the day before the current date (yesterday).  Even though these events have no alarms set, acknowledged events can be displayed in a different color on the calendar views.  See acknowledging events.

Always Force Alarm Window to Foreground

If this option is checked, Remind-Me will always bring the alarm dialog to the foreground.  If this option is not checked Remind-Me follows the user interface settings in Windows.  That is, if you are currently working in another application, the alarm dialog may not interrupt your current work, and will not pop to the foreground.
