System Tray

 

When Safe Data Backup is running it places this icon: in your system tray  The system tray is normally in the lower right portion of your screen.  You can left click on this icon to display Safe Data Backup when it is hidden or to hide the program when it is displayed.  Safe Data Backup is also hidden whenever you press the "Hide" button on the toolbar, or choose the File / Hide to Tray menu command.  To start Safe Data Backup in the hidden state, launch the program with a command line argument "/hidden".

 

By hovering your mouse over the icon in the system tray you can see the popup tool-tip text.  If a data backup job is not currently running, this popup will display when the next scheduled data backup job is set to run and the icon will be blue.  When a data backup job is running, this popup will display the current job status and the icon will turn to the color green.  An example popup showing the status of a currently running data backup job and the green icon is shown below:
