Close Button Hides Program To Tray

Select this option to have Handy hide itself in the system task tray when the main window's close button is pressed.  When this option is not selected Handy will exit when the close button is pressed.

Word Wrap Notes

Note lines longer than the width of the window will automatically wrap to the next line.  When using this option you will not need to scroll left or right to see the entire note.  Any change made to this option will only take effect the next time the program is started.

Alphabet Bar Filters On

Controls how the alphabet bar filters the displayed contacts.

Default vCard Handler

Displays the current application assigned as your default vCard handler.  To make Handy Address Book the default vCard handler, press the Make Handy Address Book Default Handler button.

When Handy is assigned as the default vCard handler you can easily open any vCard (.vcf) file.  If the vCard file you open contains a single address, it will be imported, and automatically opened with the address editor.  If the vCard contains multiple addresses they will be imported into the current address book, and all the imported addresses will be selected.

Default .ABK Handler

Displays the current application assigned as your default Handy Address Book file (*.ABK) handler.  Normally Handy should always be set to be the handler for .ABK files.  To make Handy Address Book the default .ABK handler, press the Make Handy Address Book Default Handler button.

When Handy is assigned as the default .ABK handler you can open any *.ABK address book file by double clicking on that file.
